The Scare Games - Echo scores! (Echo's part of the story)

Tuesday. Seven o' clock in the morning. The alarm clock ran and me and Pingy jumped out of bed, ready for the big day ahead. My day was already planned out. I would go to the school of scaring with Bubsey, then go to another lesson, have lunch, and play football (rugby)

I started the day by having a warm shower. I hadn't actually noticed this, but I was huge! My hair had grown and I began to think that I'd need a razor! I glanced at my watch - 5 minutes until the lessons started! And I had to walk? I definitely needed a car, but I didn't have a job. Anyway, at the school of scared, I got scared. We were teamed up into small groups and me and Bubsey got separated. I was with an elite scarer who had been training for 5 years. He taught me lots and lots of tips and tricks I didn't already know! I told him I was running for the scare games with OK. He laughed.

Lunch was the same as ever. Garbage. But I seemed to like the taste of it - maybe I was turning into a real monster! I loved being a monster. I sat next to Bubsey and Pingy and told them about the scare games. I said it would be at the end of June when we completed them, and they wanted to do it too! But I hadn't told them the consequences if you loose...

The big football game was next. Pingy wasn't there yet. I was ready to play. Bubsey was cheering me on. I was terrible though. Only because there was this HUGE monster that took up a quarter of the pitch! I had to get past him with the ball, but I ended up bouncing into his squishy skin. I was injured, not too serious, but I wasn't allowed to play. Fear Tech were winning and MU was loosing! At last, Pingy arrived and took my place. We cheered him on and he got a touchdown! We won in the end, according to Bubsey. It was a great day and I'm looking forward to Wednesday. It's a whole day of learning about the scare games. We'll have to research it, and find out who has lost, and get some good tactics! Plus, we'll be scaring each other and practicing on a child provided by Monsters Inc. The child is in a door, which I think is their closet door! I hope I scare it well and Bubsey and Pingy too!

The Scare Games - Got Stuck In A Game Of Football/Handball/Rugby/British Bulldog (My part of the story)

My engineering class had finished.When I walked to the American Football Ground,"You're the new member of the MU Football team right?" asked Scott."Yeah what happened?" "I've heard that you have an important match today with Fear Tech, our rival school. "I replied."Yes and we've lost a player.So,can you join the senior American Football team?" he requested me."But i'm a junior!" I replied back."No problem!Your like a huge blue mountain with polka dots.And" he looks at the scoreboard  OK : 0 ROR: 7 By looking at that I decided to play.The game started. A guy with three eyes and 8 feet says your a loser. That's when the game starts.I take the ball and run till the end,in the mean time other members of the MU senior were catching other enemy players. TOUCHDOWN! came a voice I recognized.Yes! It was Bubsey and Echo screaming that.I kicked the ball into the correct position. MU's scores started increasing.It was the last point.I was there but a guy known as Randall suddenly disappeared. That's when I started running and got to the goal. One of my team members caught the ball and I kicked it.TOUCHDOWN! It was a touchdown!  MU won the game!

The Scare Games- Part 5 (Bubsey's part of the story)

I woke up Tuesday Morning. It was 6:00 AM. I was up pretty early so I decided to draw until the others got up. There was a football game today and I had promised Jet Pack Guy I'd go watch him Play. Finally, it was time to get up. The alarm clock rang and Echo and Pingy sprang out of bed. It was Scaring again! We walked to the school of scaring and Professor Knight was inside. We sat in our seats and class started a minute later. "Today we have a Pop quiz on the History of Scaring" said Professor Knight. "Why do we scare?" "Because we care!" I answered. "Very good Bubsey." Professor Knight complimented me. After class, we were given Homework and then went to the big Football game. We were playing Fear Tech, our rival school. Jet Pack Guy dodged Fear Tech players and scored a Touchdown! We won by 1 point, 45 to 44.

Sallyshortt: The Scare Games - My Intoduction (Sallyshortt's part of the story)

I was sleeping. I'm not much of a peaceful sleeper at night when I fall asleep after every other igloo in the neighborhood is asleep or has their lights off. I'm on constant watch, one creak and my eyes will shoot open faster than you can say "On alert". But I'd started to trust that no one was around, and I was drifting into sleep. Until I heard another creak. This time from my closet door. I looked over. Nothing but the darkness of my closet. I picked up my Penguin Invader plushie and looked at it. My mind was just wandering off now. I dropped it into my pile of geeky things, Penguio and Pluigi, Puffle-man... So many. And I looked over to my Puffle-Man game console, which was one of those old ones that had the joystick and stuffs. 
I started to fall asleep again, but was awoken by another creak. I looked over again. This time, there was visible change in the door of my closet. I picked up some Power Cards and my Fish Tank Hammer and walked over to my closet. I squinted at the inside. I looked around. I saw a figure. I flipped on the light. The creature covered its eyes. "Whoah! Tell me when you will turn that thing on, kay?" It yelled.

"Who are you?" I asked. "And what are you doing here?" 
"I'm Brock," He said. "I'm the vice president of the Greek Council at Monsters University!" He looked at a piece of paper. "This is supposed to be the room of another Monster... This must be wrong...No offense." He started fiddling with the paper. I realized he had a large amount of energy. "Hey," I whispered. "Shush. You'll wake the neighbors. And they just had a baby. I've already woke that thing up and that is not a path you wanna go down on." 
"Sorry... I was just excited to have a new student." He seemed sad now. "Wait, wait." I said. "I am a monster. I'm just in... disguise." He looked up. "Really? That's a good disguise. Well, you can change in your dormitory room. Follow me." He took me inside my closet. Though it wasn't my closet anymore. It was a huge facility. I saw monsters going in doors and I heard screaming little kids. Whoah. He took me out of there and onto a street. We walked for a long time until we reached a huge building. "Welcome to Monsters University." He said. I walked inside. "You're on your own now. Everyone at the welcome desks can help you." He left. I walked up to a desk. "Ok.. New student..." The worker grabbed some papers and passed them to me. "School handbook, your schedule, and a map of the school." He finally gave me some keys. "Room 25, 2nd floor. You get a room to yourself." I smiled and left. 
I sat down on my bed. I didn't have any clothes, but I did have my coins. I went out to the campus bank. "Hey, can I transfer these coins to regular money?" I pushed all of my coins onto the desk. The worker examined them. "It seems like you can. They're worth quite a lot though, you should open a bank account." I nodded. "Deposit a thousand dollars, please." In Club Penguin that wasn't much, so I was excited to find out how much it was here. "Whoah, that's a lot. I'll just give you 500..." He pushed a bunch of bundled up pieces of paper towards me. I left and went to the campus store. I bought a MU sweater, and then bought a bunch of T-shirts, and a bunch of pants. These should last me, I thought. I took them back to my dorm to realize it was getting nighttime. I fell asleep.

The Scare Games - Echo's Lessons (Echo's part of the story)

After wolfing down the garbage they served at the cafeteria, I found myself heading towards the school of engineering. I had signed up for this class because I wanted to be able to learn more about the topic - engineering was very important if you were to work at Monsters Inc. The class was taken by a strange sturdy monster with glasses. He said that to begin with our lessons, we would learn about the scream canisters where all the screams were collected. We noted the blueprints for one of the canisters and were asked how we could improve them. One hairy blue monster shouted out,

"Make 'em red instead of yellow!" Everybody laughed at that. 

"Think of the engineering in the topic not the colour! We're not in the school of arts." called the teacher from the front of the room, holding the canister. Eventually, we were asked to design and draw our own canister which we would begin to make next week. "If you're lucky, your canisters might end up in the Monsters Inc Factory!" said the teacher, excitedly. I didn't really want to be an engineer but I knew the training would help. I was going to be a scarer.

The next lesson, and the last lesson, was Science. I had specifically chosen this lesson so I could catch up with Gary. In the school of science, you were asked to learn from the masters and then make your own scientific thing. I hadn't a clue what I would make, but it was a great chance to talk to Gary.

"How's it going?" I whispered to Gary.

"Not very well." The blue monster replied. I studied his dreary eyes.

"You need some sleep Gary." I said, softly.

"Yes, you're right. Perfect timing! You can continue with this machine I'm making and it will contribute to your science lessons. I'm going to have a rest now, but I'll be back later. I followed the blueprints and tried to get the machine working, but it wouldn't. The teacher came over and examined me. I couldn't determine whether I had done well or bad. Gary arrived later, and I was relieved. Another long Monday. But I was looking forward to Tuesday - playing sports as a monster! I waddled up the stairs like I used to, as a penguin. I found room 56 and unlocked it. There, sat a beaming Bubsey Good and Pingywin. They were both in OK. But how did their Monday go? I hoped it was better than my Monday!

The Scare Games- Part 4 (Bubsey's Part)

Our Alarm clock rang loudly. Echo was still asleep, so we decided not to wake him. No scaring today! And that was our major! Luckily for Echo it was a break and I went to the Oozma Kappa meeting. We all told are majors. "I'm a 'Dance Major!" said Terri. "And I'm not." said Terry. "I'm Art! New Age Philosophy Major." Art said happily. "Don Carlton, Major in Computer Science!" said Don. "I'm Squishy and don't have a major!" exclaimed Squishy. "And the 3 of us are majors in Scaring!" I told them. "But there's only 2 of you." said Terry. "Oh, Echo is sleeping now and we don't want to wake him." I said. "He must have stayed up late studying." said Don. "He has!" said Pingy. "He's very focused in studying and stays up 2 hours later than us studying!" I exclaimed. Oozma Kappa did a welcoming Ceremony for us and it was off for lunch. Today we sat by each other once again. "How'd you sleep Echo?" I asked. "I slept just fine." said Echo. "How was the meeting?" "Great, they'll do your welcoming Ceremony tomorrow." I told Echo. Then we talked and talked until it was time for classes. Today was Monday and that means I have Animal Studies again...

The Scare Games ~ Echo joins OK (Echo's part of the story)

I woke up, feeling very cold. The window was open. I looked to my right. Pingy was gone. I turned around, and realised that Bubsey had gone too. I rolled over and glanced at my bedside clock. It was already 11:00! I was late for classes - I had forgotten that today was Monday, my first day of my new Martial Arts club. I had joined when I noticed a sign on the noticeboard (So that's why it's called a "notice"board!) which read.
Martial Arts ClubYou might be able to block two karate chops at a time, but what about facing current amateur champion Turner Dourton (MU junior), who has 8 fists of fury? All skill levels welcome to the MU Dojo. I was pretty good at Martial Arts back when I was a penguin, so I figured my skills, like my powers, would've passed onto my monster body. Quickly, I stormed out of my room, forgetting the fact that I was ever ill. When I got to the dojo, I was shown different moves and how to master them. To my surprise, I actually did well! And only then did I forget about being a penguin. That was when I loved being a monster. I was stronger, bigger and faster than the rest. I could achieve high in the monster world if I set my mind to it. So I decided to compete in the scare games...

...I joined the OK team - I'd heard Pingy had too, and I was ready for the scare games. But that was a long way off yet. I still had to train, and learn much much more about these monsters. I decided to meet Pingy in the dining hall for lunch....

The Scare Games - A Furry Situation! ( My part of the story)

I had a good bath.The bathtub here is huge!But nothing than something irritated me?Why do I see fur everywhere?I looked at the mirror.I was just going to shout but I stopped it as I didn't want to wake Echo and Bubsey.I just finished practicing Maths,studying science,about special doors and scareology ,finished my bath and now I see I turned into a big mountain with blue fur.Even Echo and Bubsey were looking quite similar to me.To relive this tension I went to  sit near the near the river side. Just then I saw a shadow of a huge creature.It was coming closer to me."Who's that?!" I shouted showing my flashlight on it.The shadow ran away.I thought that he was sacred of me and ran away.Just then I saw white fur on the ground."Is it what I think it is?"I questioned myself.The time was passing by while I was walking back to my room.It was 8:00 in my watch.And i was passing by the Greek community,"Which club are you joining?!" asked one of the members of OK.The sign was familiar from yesterday night when Bubsey was talking about fraternities and showed me a flag of the same symbol."What your name?" I asked the one with five eyes."Scott Squishy Squibbles" replied Scott.I took a look at a couple of clubs.At last I chose OK."Gotta go pal!I'm late for college I guess."I told Scott."Today is a holiday.As its Sunday."replied Scott.Thinking of pancakes in breakfast I decided to go the Monster Dining Hall."I have to go to the Monster Dining Hall.My friends must be waiting for me over there." I replied back to Scott and ran towards the Monster Dining Hall.

The Scare Games ~ Sounds In The Night ( Echo006's part of the story)

Room 56. Midnight. Bubsey was snoring. Pingy was asleep. Only I was awake. It felt strange, being a monster. We had taken our lessons yesterday. We had figured out that we were in a different world. We had changed. Into monsters... I looked around, gloomily. Where was the penguin world? Full of snow, and ice? How would we get back? But on the other side of the coin, I loved being a monster. I pulled out my map of the campus.
 
It was huge! My favourite place to sit was by Troll Bridge, watching the boats go by on the river. Then I heard a sound. I immediatly knew someone was watching us. Quickly, using my monster like powers, I carried a shadow out through the room and into the hallway.
"OUCH!" said a monster. He knocked on the door. 
I answered it. "Uh, excuse me, I think you have the wrong room." I said without looking up.
"Actually, I'm here to inform you that we can't get back through the dimensions, Echo!" said a puzzled Gary monster. "We're stuck here, until I can find out a way to get back. I'll be in the school of science if you need me. Don't worry - I have everything under contol."
That worried me. If Gary couldn't get us back, what would we do? Become monsters forever? I heard rustling sounds from outside. Gary was gone. I started to hear even more sounds, and I wondered if I had caught monster-fever. I was ill. I wondered to my bed and lay down, waiting for the sounds to stop and Bubsey and Pingy to comfort me. I couldn't stand travelling through the dimensions.

The Scare Games- Part 3 ( Bubsey's Part Of The Story)

Professor Knight finished his speech and we had an exam. The math was very easy for me, though Echo was having trouble with it. Then Professor Knight split us up and I ended up with Squishy and Cadence?!?! We promised to sit together at lunch and started scareology. It was very easy, at least for me, don't know why. We got to the cafeteria and sat by Aunt Arctic, Cadence and Gary. As soon as we sat down, Aunt Arctic started talking. "Did you know that there are Fraternities that you can go in for the scare games?" asked Aunt A. "No" replied me, Pingy and Echo. "Well, then, speak to the Greek Council to find out!" relied Aunt A. We found out about the Fraternities and I joined OK (Oozma Kappa) and Echo and Pingy have kept what Fraternity that they're going to join. They say they'll tell me in the morning. Anyway, after scaring in the morning I went to animal studies in the afternoon and PH was there. Pingy and Echo went to their afternoon classes. In the evening I quickly ran into the Library and got some books. I went to the bathroom then looked myself in the mirrior. I had one eye! And I had fingers and horns! Oh well, Pingy and Echo didn't look the same either. It turns out if you spend a night in the Monster World at MU, you turn into a monster. It was about time for bed so I got in and fell asleep...

The Scare Games - Echo's Exam (Echo's Part Of Story)

My flippers were trembling. Ok, I was good at normal maths, but not monster maths and I certainly had no idea about scaring! Why didn't they just make the children laugh instead? The exam had started. I wanted to call Bubsey for help, but Professor Knight had split us up. For the first time, I realised I had ginger fur! I quickly pulled out my ID card Bubsey have me. I looked weird. I answered the first few questions with ease. But as the test continued, I didn't have a clue what the question even was! By the end of the exam, I was shattered and it seemed like Bubsey and Pingy were too.

"I found that really hard." I said to them.

"Actually, it was ok for me. I could do all the maths in it." replied Pingy.

We walked down the hall into the campus. We had collected lots of information about Monsters University and this was it so far....
Lunchtime was next and we were going to meet Aunt Arctic...But since there were 11 dining facilities, how would we find her in this massive university? In fact, how would we get back?

The Scare Games - A Speech Makes Others Speechless (My Part Of The Story)

After we three sat down that guy who had buds on his head(most of them call him Professor Knight) started a long speech.In the mean time, Bubsey,Echo and me collected some information about this bud head guy and wrote it in a notebook.Here is what it said according to the information we had.

MU expects the best in every way, which extends to their elite teaching staff composed of only the most sought after and highly-accomplished professors. Dedicated to developing the most talented monsters around, Professor Knight meets this expectation...and then some. “Everybody thinks they’re scary. Whether it’s Joe Blo from accounting jumping out from the water cooler, or the weekend warriors doing scaraoke at the local pizza shop, everyone’s a scarer, but when you get to my class you’re gonna learn one thing real fast – you don’t know scary.”

Professor Knight, or as the students affectionate call him, “Sergeant Knight” has a very important role in the early academic career of each MU scaring major – he separates the laudable from the laughable. His keen eye for talent, rigorous demands, and teaching expertise makes the unprepared flee and the diamonds sparkle.

“Look it’s simple, scaring is dangerous business, so excuse me if I say something that hurts your ‘widdle’ feelings. I’m sure your mommy, and your grade school teacher thought you were the most horrifying thing on the planet, but let’s get one thing straight…I ain’t your mommy.” 

Former students agree that Knights teaching methods last the test of time. “I still think of the lessons I learned from Professor Knight every day of my professional career,” said Jed Barkleman (Class of ‘91), “and I still have nightmares about him every night of my life.” 

After that 30 minute speech  he said that he will take a test to see where everyone stands."The test contains Math and Scareology.Write what you know because you will learn all this in your time in MU.Scareology is one of the most important subjects which takes you to Monsters Inc. if you are lucky." said Prof. Knight.The Math party was kinda easy but the Scareology part was kinda weird.Prof. K switched everyone's places and separated Bubsey and Echo from me."I'm done reading the paper.I just need the bell to ring so I can start writing."I said to myself.

The Scare Games- Part 2 (Bubsey's Part Of the Story)

Now that me, Pingy and Echo had slept at MU one night together, we had gotten used to the place. We decided to walk around and see if anyone else had come to MU. Then we spotted a green monster with freckles, glasses and a pink toque. "Aunt Arctic!" we yelled as we ran towards them. "Sssssshhhh... They might hear that we're from the penguin world." whispered Aunt Arctic. "And the CDA would come and find us." "Sorry Aunt A." we said. "C'mon guys, enjoy your time here!" Aunt A told us. "Many more of your friends are here!" "But how did everyone end up here in the first place?" I asked. "Gary built a machine that let us travel to the monster world and he placed doors to all penguins so they could experience this." replied Aunt Arctic. "We've got scaring in 2 minutes!" I exclaimed. "Gotta go Aunt Arctic! We'll sit by you at lunch!" Pingy, Echo and I ran into the School of Scaring which was right behind Aunt A and burst into the classroom. "Are we late?" Pingy asked. "No you're right on time!" said Professor Knight. "Sit down."

The Scare Games ~ Echo's Introduction (Echo's part of the story)

I'm just a normal penguin. But that all changed, the day I was taken away. And now here I am, with Bubsey and Pingywin at Monsters University. 
I woke up, feeling cold. The room was dark, and I wondered why the sun hadn't rose. Then I realised, that overnight, using my shadow powers, I had cast a shadow over the island of Club Penguin. Nobody else had the power to do that. I quickly manouvered around my messy bedroom and controlled the shadows with my powers. Quickly, I closed my curtains and ran back to my comfortable bed. I hadn't a clue what would happen next. I was planning to sleep all day. But I noticed my closet door creak open. It wouldn't usually do that, as it was always firmly shut. I sat up, wondering if somebody was in there.
"Bubsey?" I shouted at the door. No answer. I decided it must of been the strong powers of the shadows. Nothing happened. A few hours later, I heard a growling noise. Then, out of the closet, came a small monster. 
"What're you doing sleeping in the penguin world?" The small monster asked.
"Uh, just taking a nap. Who are you?" I replied.
"I'm Scott Squishy Squibbles!" replied the monster with 5 eyes. "Let's get you back to your studies, buddy. What's your room number?"
"I don't have one!" I replied, confused.
"Don't worry, uh what's your name."
"Echo." I replied swiftly.
"Don't worry, Echo. Dr. Rufus Oozeman will find you a room! Now come with me, through the closet." I had no idea what was happening, but I just followed Scott through the closet. I gawped at the amount of monsters which were here. Quickly, I was ushered to my room and found myself sitting alone in a room which was meant for three monsters. Before long, to my surprise, Bubsey arrived! We spoke a few words to each other, but were interrupted when Pingy arrived in the room. I wondered why we were all here in this monster world...
